A very good day: 2 grants, a record $24.5M for research


September has been a notable month for our School’s grant awards! The George Washington University announced that on Sept. 6th, 2012 it received two grants totaling nearly $24.5 million dollars, including about $14 million awarded to a team led by John Lachin, professor of epidemiology and biostatistics with the School of Public Health and Health Services (SPHHS). Taken together, the two grants amount to the largest grant allocation the university has received in recent history. Read the full press release
